AI Carousel generates swipeable, multi-page visual content designed for social media. Each page is an AI-generated image with brand-consistent styling, narrative flow, and a call-to-action. You describe your topic, pick a template if you want one, and the agent builds a complete carousel ready to post.
What you can create
Carousels are built for social media platforms. Each one is a set of visually cohesive image pages that tell a story when swiped in sequence.
The agent structures every carousel with:
- A hook on the first page to stop the scroll.
- Value slides in the middle that deliver the content.
- A CTA (call-to-action) on the final page that drives engagement.
Supported platforms: Instagram, LinkedIn, Twitter/X. The agent adjusts aspect ratios and styling to match the platform you choose.
Aspect ratios
Carousels use portrait-oriented formats optimized for social media:
| Format | Best for |
|---|
| 1:1 | Square posts, works across all platforms |
| 2:3 | Tall portrait, strong on Instagram |
| 9:16 | Full vertical, optimized for Stories and Reels |
Slide count options
| Slide range | Plan required |
|---|
| 4–8 | Free |
| 8–12 | Free |
| 12–16 | Pro |
| 16–20 | Pro |
| 20–24 | Pro |
| 24+ | Max |
Inspirations
Carousel creation starts with a template gallery. When you begin, the agent shows you a selection of carousel templates that match your topic. Pick one to use as a design reference, or skip and let the agent create a style from scratch.
The agent adapts to four scenarios depending on what you provide:
| Scenario | What the agent uses |
|---|
| Template + your brand assets | Your brand colors and logo with the template layout |
| Your brand assets only | Your brand colors, logo, and visual style without a template |
| Template only | Template layout with topic-appropriate colors |
| Neither | The agent researches visual references and creates a style from scratch |
Brand consistency
If you provide brand assets (colors, logo, fonts), the agent applies them across every page of the carousel. Your logo is placed on every slide. Your brand colors are used in backgrounds, accents, and text. The visual style of the first page carries through to every subsequent page so the carousel looks like one cohesive piece, not a collection of separate images.
Approval gate
Generating carousel images uses more credits than text-based content. To protect your credits, the agent generates only the first page initially and waits for your approval before creating the rest.
The agent will not generate the remaining pages until you review and approve the first page. This is by design. If the direction is wrong, you can adjust before spending credits on the full set.
Editing carousels
You can edit carousels after generation in two ways:
- Selective edit - Ask the agent to change a specific page. Describe what you want different and the agent regenerates that single page while keeping the rest intact.
- Full redesign - Ask the agent to redesign the entire carousel with a new visual direction. The agent creates a new first page for approval, then generates the rest.
Carousel pages can also be viewed and edited in the AI Canvas, where you can rearrange, reorder, and work with individual slides alongside other visual assets.
When editing a single slide, be specific. Quote the exact text you want changed and describe the visual change clearly. The more precise you are, the better the result.
Export
You can export your finished carousel in two formats:
| Format | What you get |
|---|
| PDF | All pages in a single PDF file, one page per slide |
| ZIP | All page images in a compressed archive |
What AI Carousel does not support
- HTML-based slides. Every carousel page is a generated image.
- Editing text directly on a slide. All edits go through the agent using AI image generation.
- Animations or video slides within a carousel.
- Automatic posting to social media platforms. You download the carousel and post it yourself.
