The timeline lets you combine multiple video clips and images into a single continuous video. You arrange items in order, set durations for images, and the system outputs one combined video file.

How to combine clips into a timeline

1

Prepare your clips and images

Generate or upload the video clips and images you want to combine. They should all be on the canvas. You can mix video clips and still images in the same timeline.
2

Open the timeline

Select the clips you want to combine on the canvas. The timeline option appears in the toolbar.

3

Arrange the order

Drag items to set the sequence. The timeline plays from left to right. For images, set the duration each image should display (in seconds). Video clips use their existing duration.
4

Combine

Click the combine button. The system processes all items and outputs a single video file.
5

Review the result

The combined video appears on the canvas. Play it to check the sequence, transitions, and timing.

What you can include in a timeline

Item typeHow it works
Video clipsPlay at their full duration. Motion and audio are preserved.
Still imagesDisplay for a duration you set (in seconds).

When to use this

  • Creating multi-scene videos from individually generated clips.
  • Building product demo reels with multiple shots.
  • Combining short clips into a longer narrative sequence.
  • Mixing still images (title cards, transitions) with video clips.

Long video workflow

For videos longer than 15 seconds, the agent follows a structured multi-shot workflow:
1

Plan the shots

The agent breaks your request into individual shots, each 3–15 seconds. It presents the shot plan for your approval before generating.
2

Generate each clip

Each shot is generated individually. For visual continuity, the agent extracts the last frame of each clip and uses it as the starting frame for the next.
3

Combine on the timeline

All clips are arranged on the timeline and combined into a single output.
Long video generation uses significantly more credits than a single clip. The agent asks for your approval before starting because the cost scales with the number of shots and their durations.

What you cannot do

  • You cannot add transitions (fades, wipes, dissolves) between clips. Cuts are direct.
  • You cannot adjust audio levels or mix audio between clips in the timeline.
  • You cannot trim or crop individual clips within the timeline. Edit clips before adding them.
  • You cannot reorder clips after combining. To change the order, combine again with the new sequence.
