Connect Runable to your Discord server and chat with the AI agent via DMs or server threads. The bot creates threads automatically to keep conversations organized.

Set up

Open RunClaw settings

Go to Settings → Run Claw in the Runable web app.

Click Connect on Discord

Click the Connect button next to Discord. This launches a Discord OAuth flow.

Add the bot to your server

Discord asks you to select a server and approve permissions. Choose your server and click Authorize.

Start chatting

DM the bot directly, or mention it in a channel. The bot creates a thread for each conversation.

How to use

DM the bot

Open a direct message with the Runable bot and send your request. The agent responds in the same DM.

Chat in server threads

Mention the bot in any channel or send a message in a thread where the bot is active. The bot auto-creates threads for new conversations to keep channels clean.

Upload files

Attach files to your Discord message. The bot forwards them to the agent as context.

Set your model tier

You can set the model tier for your Discord connection. This controls which AI model the agent uses when responding to your messages through Discord. The default is Pro.

What you get back

Responses stream back in real time. When the agent generates something visual (a presentation, website, or image), it sends an embed with an “Open in Runable” button that takes you to the web app to view and edit the full result.

What you cannot do

  • You cannot have multiple users share the same Discord bot connection.
  • You cannot use slash commands for Runable features in Discord (slash commands are available in Telegram only).
  • You cannot use canvas editing tools from Discord.

Disconnect

Go to Settings → Run Claw and click Disconnect next to Discord. You can reconnect at any time.
