# Export to PDF or PPTX

> Download your presentation as a PDF or PowerPoint file.

When your presentation is ready, export it as a PDF for sharing or as a PPTX for further editing in PowerPoint or Google Slides. Both HTML-format and image-format slides can be exported.

## How to export

    Click on your presentation in the side panel to view the slides.

  <Step title="Click the Export button">
    In the slide viewer toolbar, click the **Export** button.

  <Step title="Choose your format">
    Select **PDF** or **PPTX**. The file downloads to your device.

## PDF vs PPTX

## What you cannot do

* You cannot export individual slides. The full presentation exports as one file.
* You cannot export directly to Google Slides format. Export as PPTX and import it into Google Slides.
* You cannot preserve animations or transitions in the export (slides are static in both formats).
* You cannot set a custom page size for the PDF export.
