# Subscriptions Explained

A Runable subscription gives you access to our AI platform, premium models, publishing capabilities, and monthly credits.

Each subscription renews automatically every billing cycle unless it is cancelled before the next renewal date.

# How Billing Works

When you purchase a subscription, a billing cycle begins immediately.

Your subscription automatically renews on the same day every billing cycle unless cancelled beforehand.

## Example

| Purchase Date | Next Renewal |
| ------------- | ------------ |
| January 12    | February 12  |
| February 12   | March 12     |
| March 12      | April 12     |

<Info>
  Your billing cycle is based on the date you first subscribed, not the beginning of the month.
</Info>

# Auto Renewal

Runable subscriptions renew automatically.

This ensures uninterrupted access to:

* Monthly Credits
* Website hosting
* Published projects
* AI models
* Premium features

If your payment is successful, a new billing cycle begins immediately.

***

# What Happens When My Subscription Renews?

When your subscription renews:

* Your Monthly Credits refresh.
* Your new billing cycle begins.
* Your subscription remains active without interruption.

Your unused Monthly Credits from the previous billing cycle expire and are replaced by the new month's allocation.

</Info>

# What Happens After Cancellation?

Once your current billing cycle ends:

* Your subscription becomes inactive.
* Monthly Credits expire.
* Premium features become unavailable.
* Published websites are no longer hosted.

# Upgrading Your Subscription

You can upgrade your subscription at any time.

Depending on where you are in your billing cycle, the upgrade may be charged on a prorated basis for the remainder of the current cycle.

Once upgraded:

* Your subscription changes immediately.
* Future renewals occur at the upgraded plan price.
* You'll receive the benefits of the upgraded plan.

***

# Downgrading Your Subscription

You may also downgrade to a lower plan.

Your downgraded plan takes effect at the start of your next billing cycle.

Until then:

* Your current subscription remains active.
* Your current plan benefits remain available.

***

# Past Due Accounts

If a subscription renewal payment cannot be completed, your account may enter a **Past Due** state.

While your account is Past Due:

* Access to subscription features may be limited.
* Published websites may become unavailable.
* AI generation may be restricted.

To restore access, you'll need to resolve the outstanding payment.
